Sweet Poison Cupcake officially started in 2010 but I actually started making jewelry in 2008. While in 8th grade, I started selling cupcake rings at school. The name Sweet Poison Cupcake was my user name at a site called Vampire Freaks, with the name and a love for kawaii jewelry the business came to be. In 2010 with the help of my mother, we officially started the business. Our first convention was ToraCon in 2010. In 2014, we opened a physical store in the Village Gate in Rochester, New York. The business has been featured in numerous online articles, videos, the Democrat & Chronicle newspaper and Japan NHK World Kawaii International TV Show.
